Apache Ind Res.  Rises under the Rim, 3 miles above the old Ramer ranch, near Fort Apache Ind. Res   Flows southeast into reservation; joins Salt river in Gila county, 10 miles southeast of Sombrero butte in T. 5 N., R. 16 E.  "So called because its upper part runs in a very deep canyon."
